A group of employees of the Directorate for Inland Waterways Plovput visited the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade on September 4th, 2009. One of the exhibitions in the museum is dedicated to the development of inland navigation in Serbia, and some of the objects for that exhibition were donated by the Directorate for Inland Waterways Plovput.
The goal of the Museum of Science and Technology is to preserve scientific-technical artifacts on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Beside collecting, researching and protecting technical culture objects, the museum has a task to present it to the public, aiming to improve the level of scientific-technical culture, as well as to make science and modern scientific achievements popular to the general public. It was founded in 1989. Since its foundation, custos of the Museum of Science and Technology collected over 4.000 objects, classified in museum exhibitions. The museum is located in Belgrade district of Dorcol, in 51 Skender-begova Street.
